Alison began her career in Nutrition in 1998 as a Nutrition Specialist. She developed an enteral and parenteral nutrition service to support patients in the acute and primary care settings. In 2002 she became the first Consultant Nurse in Nutrition in the UK continuing to improve her knowledge and clinical skills in nutritional care and patient management. Alison has always enjoyed teaching and training other Healthcare professionals, so when she retired in 2025, her aim is to share her extensive knowledge and skills with other Healthcare professionals.
