Lauren is a dedicated and experienced nurse, qualified in 2013, with a strong foundation in gastroenterology before specialising in clinical nutrition. Over the past decade, she has developed extensive expertise as a Nutrition Clinical Nurse Specialist, supporting patients with complex GI disorders. In 2021, she led the first and only complex nutrition virtual ward, delivering acute specialist care at home for patients with conditions such as intestinal failure. Due to this in 2024, she was awarded the joint Nurse Recognition Award from Dr Falk and Guts UK, acknowledging her contribution to innovation and excellence in clinical nutrition care.
